Sunday, September, 11, 2022 – SSVFD Annual 9/11 Candlelight Remembrance

SSVFD Annual 9/11 Candlelight Remembrance on  Sunday, September 11, 2022 – the 21st Anniversary

From 7:30 PM-8:00 PM

Intersection of Georgia Avenue (Rt. 97) and Olney-Laytonsville Road (Rt. 108).

Please join members of the Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department (SSVFD) and their families for the 21st annual candlelight remembrance to honor the victims of September 11, 2001. The remembrance will be held at the intersection of Georgia Avenue (Rt. 97) and Olney-Laytonsville Road (Rt. 108) from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Friends of the Fire Department, members of other Public Service Departments, and members of the community are invited to attend. All participants are encouraged to wear appropriate face coverings, utilize social distancing to the extent possible, and to bring your own candle.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET! 

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN CANDLES
