SSVFD Units Respond to Fire at the Olney Ale House – December 3, 2019
Fire at the Olney Ale House starting at approximately 5:15 pm on 12/3/19 caused the evacuation of patrons and closed down east bound Rt 108 between Old Vic Drive and Dr. Bird Road as well as eastbound and westbound Dr. Bird at Batchelor’s Forest Road. The fire likely started in the kitchen and was at one point showing from the second story of the two story restaurant. There were no injuries reported. There were about 70 firefighters on the scene at the height of the incident and they remained on scene until past 7:30 pm. MCFRS PIO Pete Pirringer reports that the dining & bar area were mostly unscathed by fire damage.
