The Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department (SSVFD) held it’s annual elections for Administrative and Operational Leadership on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Acting Chief Mitchell Dinowitz was elected Fire Chief, in his own right, for a two year term (through June 2021). Vice-President Brendan Bonita, Secretary Michael Valente, and Treasurer Stephen Lamphier were all re-elected to new terms expiring Jun 2020. Three Directors begin the second year of their two-year terms: John Lindner, Justin Stine, and David Swann. George Brown was re-elected to a new two-year term (through 2021). Steve Hamato, who had served on the Board in the past, was newly elected for a two year term (through (2021).
